I have activated Win7, works fine for a brief while, then I'm deactivated by MS so many times I've lost count. Many of those cycles were before the Boot Camp 3.1 upgrade and before the latest PDT 5.0.9310.546799. The present system is:
    * Win7 is installed and (again re-)activated in Boot Camp, and I have not tried installing in PDT through the BC installation - which is the very thing I want to do. My question is, can I import Win7 to PDT as a virtual machine without once more losing my MS activation because of whatever copyright protection Windows has been using? If I try it this time (now that BC 3.1 is in place and the PDT upgrade is also) will these upgrades somehow let the copyright verification process see "OK, all's well" or will I again get deactivated?

Possibly important is the fact that I had no Windows version except Win7 to import BC 3.1 into. Thus, BC 3.1 was imported into an installation of Win7 in BC 3.0. At first, I could not tell if the upgrade had happened, so I installed it twice before discovering how to check for the version number. I had confused the BC version number in Win7 with the BC Assistant version number on the Mac system side. So, I wonder if BC 3.1 is really fully there and fully working.

    My questions then are:
    1) Can I install the BC copy of Win7 into PDT 5 now with no "not supported" problems either in BC or in Parallels?
    2) Can I use Win7 both natively in BC and virtually in PDT without MS detecting a machine change and (once more) canceling my Win7 activation?
    3) OR - do I need to re-install some or several things again in some other sequence?

The phone-activation computer at Microsoft and I are almost on first-name basis now, we have talked so many times.

Can someone please help me to settle this? This same problem has extended several weeks now.
