Old vsn 2.5 activation code not recognized

    Attempting to install vsn 6.0 Parallels for Mac. When asked for the prior version's code, it's not recognizing the old vsn 2.5's code. Frustrating!

    I had trouble even getting to a new thread, and just previously posted something to the end of a similar thread on the BB. So, please help. Thank you.

    More on this installation

    I am running a macBook Pro with 2GB memory, OSX 10.5.8, 2.33GHz Intel core 2 duo processor. I had been running Parallels vsn 2.5 occasinally. In preparation to upgrade to Snow Leopard OS, I paid for the upgrade. Unable to get past screen requesting the vsn 2.5 serial number. I have the original packaging for 2.5 with the printed number.
