    1. GREAT product. I can't wait for the final release. I was able to install Windows 2000, SP4, and all software updates. The environment works very well and I haven't had a single problem thus far (knock on wood).

    2. Sound and USB don't work yet as noted.

    3. Airport Networking doesn't work yet as noted (need ethernet cable plugged in).

    4. I really like the settings interface. Much easier and more clear than VirtualPC.

    5. Very fast, although graphics and UI response don't quite feel like native speed on iMac Intel (hopefully final release will be faster).

    6. Suggestion -- It would be cool if future versions could push the Windows OS into the "background" so that you never have to see it or interact with it, i.e. all Windows apps launch directly from the Mac finder, and run inside of Mac windows with Mac menus. This probably isn't possible, but why not ask.

I noticed these same things. However after reading this forum I found a few solutions with the beta:

    1. Airport *does* work, but you have to select the interface before you start the VM... change it from en0 to en1. :)

    2. Graphics are actually faster if you go into the Display properties (Advanced tab) in Windows and take the acceleration back one notch... then it doesn't try to speed up the mouse and bitmap graphics, which are handled by Parallel's drivers quite fine.

This is great software and looks reasonably priced, I can't wait for the final release. I've had one nasty kernel panic (related ot network activity) but overall it's a pretty good beta so far.
