My Num Enter is behaving like Alt and I really need it to be Enter. I'm running Windows XP in Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac Build 5584 under OS 10.5.2. In Keyboard Prefs, checking and unchecking "Translate Num Enter to Alt Gr" has no effect. either way, Num Enter = Alt. I also tried the creating and modifying the .keyboard_config file as described for v2.0 but that didn't work for me. after the last step, sudo echo "nonumenterisaltgr" > /Library/Parallels/.keyboard_config I get: /Library/Parallels/.keyboard_config: File exists. and the file is not modified (size is 0 kb). Any ideas how to get my Enter key to work? thanks!
uh, yeah, duh. I had used KeyRemap4MacBook to remap my Enter key to Option/Alt so that i could more easily use my quicksilver shortcuts when working on my laptop. Usually, i use an external keyboard and shouldn't have these remapped. Doh!
