It's unbelievable, but sometimes I need to do things outside of the Parallels program, so I use command-tab to switch to another program. This works wonderfully, of course, but I notice that *after* the other program has already gotten the focus, the Windows start menu pops up in Parallels. It'd be nice if Parallels could distinguish between pressing the command key by itself for popping up the start menu, and pressing the command key in combination with another key for other purposes. It's kind of annoying to have that darn start menu popping up at the most inopportune moments.
