My boot screen keeps on reverting to the progress bar without a Windows logo, just like the one seen in Vista, no matter how many times I've changed it back manually. Also the login time whether I boot from Bootcamp or Parallels is slowed down immensely, this product seems to really slows down the performance of Windows 7, just cannot use it like this....back to re-installing 7.

Start VM and uncheck "Tune Windows for speed" in VM configuration -> Options -> Optimization dialog.

hi devx, I'm really apprehensive about trying Parallels with 7 again, I've re-installed Windows 7 twice now...I really would rather not have it get to the point where I re-install and it then wants me to re-active by phone.

    Anthony,
let's try to resolve it instead of reinstalling Windows.
How much does it take Windows to boot in PD5? in BootCamp?
Have you tried to uncheck "Tune Windows for Speed" checkbox as I suggested and reboot twice? If it doesn't help, please check that you have guest tools installed properly inside VM.
