    PD v4.0 on Debian-Lenny-amd64

I know that according to the README it is a "known issue" with missing keys/symbols on a German keyboard. Compared to beta2 the 'special characteres (äöüß ÄÖÜ?) which can be typed with Shift+Key have been added. Unfortunately all the '3-key symbols' are missing:

Alt+Shift+ß '\' (backslash) needed for Win+OS/2+DOS file system navigation
    Alt+Shift+q '@' (at) needed fpr e-mail address
Alt+Shift++ '~` (tilde) needed for Linux' home directory

and one key is missing completely (utmost left in bottom row of keyboard):
    <
    Shift+< '>'
    Alt+Shift+< '|' (pipe symbol)
    instead this key print: , ; , (Key, Shift+Key, Alt+Shift+Key)

    Will that be fixed soon?
Otherwise it is very uncomfortable to unusable for me and I will have to stick with Parallels-Workstation 2.2 on a separat installation in Ubuntu-Hardy-i386. On the other hand PD 4.0 runs smoothly and I have installed Warp 4.5 and eCS without any problems.

This was already reported during beta phase, see here: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=91767

    Best regards,
    Ingo

I really would like to purchase an upgrade from 2.2 -> 4.0 till end of September.
But I definitely cannot accept the missing keys - like many other potential users with local keyboard layouts.
Why does Parallels not read out and use the current keyboard setting from the host OS?

Which keyboard layouts are supported currently?
Will that be fixed by end of September?

Otherwise I will not go for PD 4.0,
    Ingo
