I followed the instructions from a previous post suggesting that I remove USBCDC*.* files from the IOUSBFamily.kext file which I did. After that, I did not receive any 5-10 seconds notifications. I was able to use the Nokia PC Suite and the Nokia Software updater. Today for fun, I reattached the above files to the .kext file and when I started PDM back up, no more 5-10 second drop downs... Thought I would post this for what its worth...
