I am running Yosemite with Parallels Desktop 10 and I am getting noise when I have Windows 7 open. It is a crackling sound that almost sounds like a machine gun. What is going on with that? All my updates for the OS and Windows are current.

I have been having this issue for a couple years now, even running the newest version of parallels with my windows 7. I had the issue with yosemite and now with el capitan OS X.

Do you have a fix for this yet? It is extremely unprofessional when my computer randomly goes burzurk and crackles and sounds like a machine gun, and this will go on for minutes sometimes...It happens randomly, when my volume is on it can be extremely loud and very is unprofessional.

    What is the fix?

Hi @WyattC, the issue with "cracking" and "random" sound has been fixed in the latest version of Parallels Desktop.
But if the issue reoccurs please provide us with the Problem report using this KB and then we will be able to involve our Development team in this case.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
