No Sound in Beta 2

I understand that sound was added in Beta 2, but it's not working. I installed Parallels Tools and it installed the audio driver in Windows 2000, but when I look at the Device Manager, Windows shows that the Intel 82801BA/BAM AC'97 Audio Controller -2445 is not working correctly. It has an exclamation point next to it.

 

Doesn't work for me either, regardless of using the image made from beta 1 or doing fresh install. I guess it hasn't been fixed in beta2.

 

As far as i remember, sound emulation was not added to Beta2. Still waiting for new version with sound.

 

same problem here. Too bad, everything else works fine. This is a winner if they can get it to work.

 

Sound support will be added prior to official release.

 

Sound support would easily gauge if I can use PW to do multimedia stuff, including watching video that isn't natively supported by OS X, play old-style games made only for Windows, etc. I eagerly anticipate the day when it'll be added.

 

sound worked perfectly in beta 1...stopped working as of beta 2 for me

 

How you enable it ? Sound was disabled into configuration editor.

 

i didn't even touch the configs's...it just worked
In beta2 i saw the option for 'pc speaker enabled' but it is enabled.
