After the latest Apple security update, I no longer have network connectivity.
I have removed and reinstalled 3188, as well as repaired permissions. I have even reinstalled combo update 10.4.9 to for good measure.

Can any one suggest a way to repair this?

No Inernet on both your Apple AND Windows side? Or just your Windows side?

Just on the windows side. I have tried both shared and bridged options.
I see both EN2 and EN3 (nics) as valid with IP address in sysprefs.

use disk ultility in your Utilities forlder to do a "Repair Permissions" that usually fixes the problem.

Yes, removed and reinstalled tools. I have gotten so frustrated, the at Just killed my Win XP installation, and copied over a duplicated VM that I had created on a 2nd computer. Networking is working again. So I can't tell if it was a parallels problem or a VM Guest OS problem
