I bought Desktop Parallels as soon as I received my new MacBook Pro Retina on June 29. Now that Desktop 8 is out and specifically addresses a bunch of issues with the Retina and Mountain Lion, I'm told I don't qualify for the upgrade. I bought Desktop parallels 28 days to early. Customer Service would only offer a discount on the upgrade. You would think Parallels Desktop 8 would have used the same retroactive date as Apple's Mountain Lion.
