I'm quite pissed after spending yet another $50 (what is this 4 times?) on an upgrade. Especially when it destroys my productivity and I can no longer use my virtual machine since it doesn't have an ethernet / network adapter installed with parallels tools by default.

    How do I fix this?

Extremely angry at you Parallels. This is a major fail. I have over $300 invested in your product, don't give me this crap for an upgrade and waste my time.

    Sincerely,

    Your longtime customer.

Shut down your virtual machine, go to its "Configure..." menu, Boot Order, enter "devices.net.force_adapter_type=rtl" into the Boot flags field (without the quotes), then restart your vm.

You aren't the only one with this problem - have you sent a bug report from within Parallels?

Go to my post a few entries up in this forum, and follow the steps there for another option.
