Hi, I have just licensed Parallels Desktop 4 for WIndows. When trying to create a new Virtual Machine, it does not use the CD ROM to locate the OS Install files. When I checked the Boot Order dialog, no CD device is displayed. However, when I look at the VM Configuration, it does show the Real Device as Enabled and Connected. How can I get the CD into the Boot Device list of the Virtaul Machine? It is enabled in the boot sequence of the real PC. I am running WIndows 7 Ultimate X-64 on a Dell T7500 box. Thanks, Norm
Resolved FYI to readerss. I have resolved this question - changed the configured location for the CD-ROM device. Once done (IDE 1:1), the device appears in the boot devices list.
