Hello! I've looked at a couple of threads already on the forum regarding this issue, and I've attempted several of the proposed solutions, but I'm still facing this issue. When starting a new VM to install an OS from a bootable CD, I receive this message: "No boot device detected. Press Enter to continue." This has occurred with a real CD as well as an ISO image. I've tried XP, 98SE, and Fedora Core 5 bootable CDs. This message appears with all three. I have removed the Parallels application and downloaded a fresh copy. I have deleted and recreated the VM. I have done a fresh install and a fresh VM creation. As for the CD, I have inserted it before installing the application. I have inserted the CD before creating the VM. I have inserted the CD before starting the VM. I have made certain that the CD was set to connect on startup. I have left it disconnected at startup, and then reconnected it while the VM was running (then pressing "Enter" to continue). I'm admittedly stumped at this point, and I'm looking for any suggestions. Thanks in advance!
Check Beta4 - it is already available. There some improvements with CD/DVD support - probably your issue is already fixed.
