So, out of curiosity's sake (and that I have the original media from my 16MHz '040 NeXTSlab), I tried to install NeXTSTEP 3.3 on Parallels. This is on my MBP 17", and I have all the Intel drivers for NeXTSTEP. I've installed before on Virtual PC, and was assuming the same could be used under Parallels. I do not get any further than to the point where NeXTSTEP tries to load the ISA/EISA files during the boot process. The boot window comes up and goes as far as detecting memory and setting up VM, then Parallels pegs core 2 of my CPU. Here's a screenshot of how far I get...

I know people have gotten Openstep to install, but was wondering if anyone has any idea on how to get NeXTSTEP to install since I don't want to plunk down $100+ for a 10 year old OS just to play with. =) I'm running with VT-x off, standard HD/CD configs. 32MB of memory and a 2000MB drive (non-expanding) in my .pvs. Thanks for any and all help!
