    Hi,

I preordered PW when it hit beta 5 (will order about 10 more at release) and have been happily hacking away with windows XP, windows 2000, windows 2003 and also Fedora core 4.

I have as yet to experience a single crash (on beta6 with the wireless fix), but there are still things we'll be waiting to be more stable with a next release:

    To name a few:

    - More stable wireless bridging

    - more stable shared folders

    - The ability to control if a USB device should be mounted by the VM or the Mac (vmware solved it by USB's being mounted if the VM had focus). I'm working with several VM's at the same time and find it rather annoying.

There are also some features that i would love to get in there in the GA.
    - Drag and drop between VM and Mac
    - (Better control of USB mounting)
    - ACPI support (for Vista)
    - Automatic detection of screen size in Linux (or at least an easier way to set it up)
    - Ability to automatically/dynamically resize VM screen by changing the windows size (like you get with Apple remote desktop). Makes it a lot easier to go in and out of full screen.
    - Support for multiple ethernet ports (bridging to host virtual lans)
    - The ability to automatically do NAT and get access to network through host environment
    - Ability to import/export VMWare images.

Now that would be cool (no need to look at Vmware then, when/if) it comes out.

So (knowing that Parallels are probably working 24 hours a day on this) any guesses/ideas as to when we can expect a new beta/rc relase cycle ?

    Keep up the god work,

    Lasse,
