Hi there. I'd like to evaluate 2X App Server but I have some basic questions. We have a small business environment 1.Is it best to install the application on the terminal server itself or can you install on a gateway machine? If installed on a gateway machine what ports need to be open? 2. We currently use a terminal server with active connections. Will installing App Server cause any conflicts with the terminal server as it is currently configured? Sorry if these are basic questions but..... :?
Hi The TS Agent must be installed on the terminal servers to be able to publish apps from them. No ApplicaitonServer listens on port 80 as default when using our client, if you have IIS or other service running on port 80 already ,you will need to change the port under the connections tab in the 2X ApplicationServer console

Re: Please clarify. Yes you can make use of a Machine with Terminal Services. Make sure that you do not have any conflicts on port 3389. No it is not required, but suggested if you have a large number of users. Nixu
