I am currently running Parallels 5 on an iMac 27 Inch Quad Core i7 with 8 GB of ram and 2 TB hard drive. (It really gets no fast then this with Mac at this point!)

I'm using Win 7 32 bit at the present time, but I am considering upgrading to 64 bit. Do you think this is a good idea? Would I notice any difference in performance? If I do this, what is the best way to go about it? I'm assuming I can't "upgrade" from the 32 bit version to the 64 bit version. So I'd do a new install of the OS. I only use Parallels for one program (Logos Bible Software) so I don't mind reinstalling it. The only downside is this program downloads about 20 Gigs of data from the cloud upon installing, so I'd really like to find a way not to have to re-download all of those resources if there is any way to do it.

Also, I am fairly new to windows 7, and to Parallels. I'd appreciate any tweaks, or settings I should know about to help me achieve and use windows 7 the best way on my current system.

Any advice/suggestions you can send my way would be greatly appreciated.
