Hello, Now that 2.2 Workstation and Desktop are officially out, can we expect a new beta, with new features? My personal wish list is a bit different from that of others: - Direct disk access ; - Windows Vista as a host. That's all, I'd prefer a 2.3 with these 'little' changes than a 3.0 version with fancy 3D, USB, etc. Just asking, Take care.
Well, assuming they have both a stable and a development tree, that they probably have frozen the stable one for the RC's (so no more new features, just bug fixes), and it's not that far fetched that they'd now allow beta testers to access the devel tree (which becomes pre-2.3 or whatever). But then again, what do I know. As I said, I was just asking
. Parallels don't have a pre beta release, beta testing, for anyone external to Parallels. They release a beta, and that is when the public get to test it. Despite the rapid pace of development, that has never been too soon after a release. .
