    Hello,

I've got a networking issue here (using RC1):

I've got Windows XP running inside a virtual machine. On that XP system, I've installed Gobby, a collaborative text editor which needs port 6522. I've forwarded that port to my macbook in my router settings. I've tried both - host only and shared networking but my friend just can't connect. The windows firewall is disabled and I don't have any other kind of firewall running.

On my normal XP machine it works fine (provided I change the port in the router settings to the appropriate IP). This leads me to believe that the problem must be with Parallels somehow blocking the port. But how can that be?

    Help would be greatly appreciated!

"Your Mac" is actually two machines, OSX and the guest. To make this work, use bridged networking, and forward the port to the guest IP (use ipconfig to find it).
