    Hi,
I am running Parallels 10 on my MacBook Pro and use it to virtualize different linux distribution (most of them based on debian).
I seem to have a wrong setup because my available interface is always just LAN / eth0; can somebody tell me how to configure my settings in order to actually access my mbps wifi card and have linux treat it as such? As for now, certain wifi related actions (scan for networks in the area) do not work; I am, however, connected to my home wifi. This is just through my mbps wifi connection, though, I don't even have to put in credentials when logging into debian.

Can somebody help me? Thanks & best regards

    Hi Ben2,
Parallels doesn't have a dedicated adapter for ethernet/WiFi, it is a generic driver installed by Parallels Tools.
Though your Mac is connected with your WiFi connection , Parallels would still show it as ethernet.
