Hello, I am trying to create a network between my Windows (on Parallels on my MacBook Pro) and a Windows PC. I've read this topic http://download.parallels.com/desktop/v6/docs/en/Parallels_Desktop_Users_Guide/22249.htm but the network is still not shared. I can't see the VM on my PC. Could you please help? Thank you and best regards. Alex
Hello @AlexandreC4 We would request you to connect your virtual machine to Bridge network. When this networking mode is used, your virtual machine's network card establishes a direct connection with your Mac computer's network card using a technology called "bridging." A virtual machine appears as a separate physical computer that belongs to the same subnet as the Mac it is running on. We would request you to refer to this article http://kb.parallels.com/4948 and check it helps. Thanks, Shathish
Hello Shathish@Parallels! Thank you for your answer. I have finally succeeded to see my Mac in my Windows PC, but I can not share the VM with my PC. In fact, when I go in my Mac on System Preference, then Sharing, then File Sharing, I click on "+" and I see the Windows VM on the sidebar. The "Add" button is inactive. How could I share the Windows VM in my System Preference? https://photos.app.goo.gl/F2aeHzmOjeUOYfDP2 Thank you in advance. Best regards, Alex
Hello @AlexandreC4 It is not possible to share the Windows Drive on the Mac System Preference. Have you connected the virtual machine into Bridged Network? If yes, what is exactly happening if you try the connect the VM from the Windows PC?
