Build 4.0.3844, Win XP SP3, Netware Client 4.91 SP4 I installed the NW client the same as on physical hardware, on boot up xp sails right past the login screen and goes to a desktop. Right clicking the client and selecting "Login" brings up the login window and it logs in just fine so the client is working it just doesn't stop at the login screen at boot time. Any thoughts? thanks
Ok, I've figured out some of the problem but have wound up with another. I found that no password on the administrator account(clean install of xp) was letting the OS go straight through to the desktop. Now when it starts, I get a error that login failed and then it gives me the netware login box with windows only checked. I can go through and login after unchecking windows only and changing the local id to the proper one. So the question is now, is there a setting in parallels or windows I'm missing for auto-login?
FIXED! Ok, found the problem, here is what I had to do: Click Start/Run and type: control userpasswords2 Click OK and the "User Accounts" Property Sheet displays. On the "Users" tab, Check the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" check box. Click "Apply" Restart and you are good to go.
