I currently have a license for the stand-alone version of Parallels Desktop 19. I received an offer to upgrade to either the stand-alone version of Parallels Desktop 20 for $52.49 or a subscription to Parallels Desktop Pro 20 for the same price. The offer ends tomorrow. Can I request a call back to I can speak to a representative about some questions I have? It would have to be this evening because, like I said, the offer ends tomorrow. Specifically, my initial questions are: If I take advantage of the offer to upgrade from stand-alone Parallels Desktop 19 to a subscription for Parallels Desktop Pro 20, I will be doing so because of the discount. If a similar discount is not available when my subscription is set to renew in 12 months, and I choose NOT to renew my subscription at that time, what happens to my installation of Parallels Desktop Pro 20? Do I lose the ability to run Parallels Desktop altogether? Can I "downgrade" to the standalone version of Parallels Desktop 20 standard edition? If so, would I have to pay for a new license for the standalone version even though I had previously paid for a subscription to the pro version? Would I have to revert back to the standalone version of Parallels Desktop 19 standard edition that I'm currently running? Another question I have is this: the way I have my system set up is that I run Windows 11 in coherence mode and have my Mac dock on the left side of the screen and have the Windows Taskbar running along the bottom of the screen. Prior to upgrading my MacBook Pro M3 to Sequoia, the Windows Taskbar would occasionally go to sleep and become greyed-out - a behavior I wasn't thrilled about. However, ever since the upgrade to Sequoia, the Taskbar disappears altogether, and I have to use the Parallels Desktop menu to restore it. Would upgrading to Parallels Desktop solve this issue or is this something a) I can fix now or b) will remain regardless of whether I upgrade or not? The answer may influence whether or not I choose to upgrade at this time. Thank you! John
