Need to run/print DOS programs from Windows; can Parallels Tools be installed in Win 2000?

I've had everything set up on a Win98SE guest OS on Parallels Desktop for Mac, for years. I've been able to run and print the output from some legacy DOS programs without a hitch, and I've been a purchaser/user of PD for Mac versions 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, and now 10.

But now I've hit a wall. The last version of PD which works with this configuration is 8. I went ahead and upgraded to 9 and 10 anyway, since I have another VM running Windows 7, and one running Windows 8. Whenever I've needed to run a DOS app, I've reinstalled v. 8 (which automatically uninstalls v. 10...so when I'm done, I need to reinstall v. 10...which automatically uninstalls v. 8). It's cumbersome, but I don't need to do it very often.

HOWEVER, v. 8 isn't compatible with Yosemite...so I'm stuck at Mavericks. I'm way past ready to upgrade to Yosemite (would LOVE to have Continuity!). But I can't afford to give up the ability to print output from DOS programs.

It's occurred to me that Windows 2000 does pretty well with DOS. It looks like Parallels 10 supports Windows 2000 with Parallels Tools. If so, I'd be happy to buy a copy of Win 2000 and xfer my DOS apps over to that VM. Does anyone know whether this configuration would work/be supported by Parallels?

Many thanks for your experiences with Windows 2000! (Or...if anyone has had success getting Win98SE to print under PD v. 10, please let me know!)

    Okay...nevermind!! :)
I discovered that my Win7 OS was 32-bit, and capable of running DOS apps. It ran mine just fine.
Then I added DOSprn to print out the output...and I'm back in business!

    Yosemite, here I come.
