need to compress Linux guest

    would be nice for compressor to be able to do this.

    Compressor can't do that yet although we consider Linux version for future releases.

    I would suggest you
    1. Manual clean up of the files you don't need.
    2. Run the "dd if=/dev/zero of=./zerofile bs=1024; rm -f zerofile" command in linux terminal
    3. Shut down the VM.
    4. Openin VM Configuration Editor.
    5. Select Hard Disk in left tab, Advanced group in right tab.
    6. Click Compact and wait till the process is finished.

    It will decrease the size of your VM well enough.
