Need Help Migrating Windows Machine

I have installed Parallels 6, Switch to Mac Edition. I just want to use the Migrator to move my Windows data to my Mac, but I am confused. Parallels gives me the option of making Parallels run like a Mac or like a PC. I'm not sure which one to choose, but the problem I am having is that, with either option, it teels me that I have total required space of 335 GB but that I have available only 260 GB. I had partitioned my machine to allocate around 450 GB to Windows and 300 GB to Mac OS. But isn't there a way to make Parallels import my Windows data to the Windows partition? It has plenty of space.

Maybe I am going about this the wrong way. Could someone please help me get my data over so that I can use it on the Mac? I would like to be able to use it primarily on the PC side of things but would also like to be able to use the data on the Mac.
