My MacBook Pro has completely lost the ability to connect to the internet - built in ethernet doesn't even show a connection and the Parallels virtual network extensions seem to have taken over completely..I am a mac technician but I can't so far work out what to do -Any help appreciated!
yes first close parallels and get the mac connected what are you connecting to? I use wired ethernet via a router and got in all sorts of messes by making my own settings my network settings Ethernet Port Network status Built in ethernet (DHCP here TCP/IP) configure automatically Parallels NAT configure automatically my mac works as a virtual router in this set up I just deleted all my old settings and used the plug and play approach after rebooting the mac I also deleted all my hand entered locations Hugh W
