I just wanted to say I am testing parallels 8 on macbook core2dou 2GHZ 6GB RAM.

in the options I used 2 CPUs and I believe 2GB ram. My laptop went crazy hot. I changed settings to :
    1 CPU , 1GB ram, and used Direct X.

The system is running amazingly smooth, and my computer is no where as hot. I am not sure .why it worked better with less resources.

Also i was able to run few older games(2000-ish) . Which ran fine.

I also noticed that running in coherent mode takes over the mac os x and ruins its experience, its best to use Full-Screen mode

    1 question,
I am using my Bootcamp partition. Do I have to reactivate windows everytime I switch from bootcamp to parallels?
I am using parallels now, if I reboot into bootcamp , will I need to reactivate? and if I reboot back in Mac and launch parallels I have to reactivate too?
