My App Cd's Won't Work In Xp!

I'm trying to install many different games and software through CD but for some odd reason, XP won't read them. Everything in the install went smoothly, PLEASE HELP!

 

If you want meaningful help, you're going to have to be a whole lot more specific.

Off the top of my head, if the games need directx or 3D, or have copy protection that requires the CD in the drive, they aren't going to work. If it's some other problem, be real specific and maybe someone's tried it.

I've experienced similar CD recognition problems, could you expand on how you were able to fix it?
