Recently I created two VMs with the same exact configuration, and noticed that 3rd party applications were recognizing their individual licenses and calling foul. For example, ACT! 6.0, a contact management software cited the use of a single license on the same "machine". I had to pick up a second copy of Act! 6.0 to alleviate the problem. It's interesting that one can have multiple VMs with the same single WindowsXP license, but I never gave a second thought to third party applications. Has anyone else run into this problem with PC apps?
