Is it possible to have 2 external sound cards, one running in Mac OSX and one running in Windows (preferably Windows 7 or XP) and this whole thing taking place on an optimally equipped Mac. One sound card would be USB, one sound card would be Firewire. Can they talk to each other on the same Mac, or can they each be performing a different function in different software and communicating with 2 different computers, for example. I am interested in a general response from anyone with experience in this area and then in specific responses in example situations Thank you for any response. James Brody
