I'd like to see the ability to have multiple NICs emulated (say up to four) so that multi-homed configurations can be tested.

I'd also like to see multiple USB ports available at the same time, at least sixteen although I really hesitate to specify a number less than the theoretical maximum because I'll probably regret it some day.

USB ports should be indestinguishable from hardware ports on a real computer so that plugging in a hub and a bunch of devices of all different types will work, no matter what they are, as long as the guest OS knows how to handle them. Which devices belong to the guest and which to the host OS should be configurable in the VM menu without having to root around in the host for ways to disconnect things.

This is a great product, and is already very useful even in beta. I've preordered, and will find it useful even in the unfortunate event that the USB device I (really) need to work doesn't and I have to keep a PC around (ugh -- let's hope that doesn't happen). I will use the suggest features if they are implemented though.

    Thanks Parallels.
