Hi My MacBook Pro is getting full with storage and the main thing that fills it up is my Windows 10 parallels virtual pc. I am looking at getting a SD card to increase storage, can I move my windows virtual pc to the SD to run it from there?
Thanks for the good link, on there it doesn't mention at all about using SD cards talks about flash drives, is it okay to use SD cards?
Could you please let us know, what is the file system on SD card? because, if you want to run virtual machine stored on NTFS-formatted partition, you need to install NTFS driver for your Mac. For more information visit: http://kb.parallels.com/120028
I haven't got the SD card yet, the one I am looking at is this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/q3s/SanD...1-4e9e-8c26-9ca0139074ee&pf_rd_i=desktop&th=1 Most likely the 64GB one
Please check the file system on the SD card after you have received it. If it is not a Mac OS supported file system then use Disk Utility to format the SD Card then move the virtual machine.
