I am going to upgrade the hard drive in my MBP and want to migrate my WinXP guest OS from the old hard drive to the new one without having to re-install everything.

Is this possible and how would I go about doing that? Is it just a matter of backing up the files in the WinXP folder in Users, MyName, Library, Parallels ?

Please tell me it's that simple.

I use SuperDuper to make a full backup so will I just be able to restore those files from that backup after re-installing Parallels?

You're talking about a WinXP VM, right? Not a boot camp partition? In that case, yes, you can simply copy the .hdd and .pvs files to your new drive.
