How can I switch an external US drive from one windows system to another?
Whenever I plug the disk in - it is connected to the VM it was connected before.
I remember times when I had the chance to select the VM to be connected to. But I do not get the selection any more. It seems as if the sources are fix assigned to the VM.

    Thanks,
    Manfred

Even If I go to preferences on the Mac OS host and delete the permanent assignments does not work.

Hello ManfredG1, please click on Devices (On the Mac menu bar) > External Devices > Uncheck the USB that is connected to Windows virtual machine and also go to Mac Finder and eject the USB. So that when you connect your USB to the Mac, you will prompt with the notification whether you like to connect USB to Mac or Windows and see if that works. Thanks!
