Move Parallels Virtual Machine to a PC

I have scoured the web and can't seem to find any information on this. Everyone wants to move PC to Parallels, but I need to move my Parallels to a PC. I have the same operating system on both, Windows 7. What would the procedure be to move the VM to the PC? Any help would be appreciated.

 

Can be a very tedious procedure, it's quite technical also. First of all, Windows doesn't like to be moved to different hardware, second of all, the procedure is exactly the same as transferring Windows from one physical computer to another physical computer, and if you want to google for it that's what you should google for.

Basically it involves using a third party program that can clone the partition/disk there are a lot of options out there for this, free and non-free, basically their let you create a cd/cd image that you will boot your vm into. Preferably this program can also handle setting window up on different hardware, because if it doesn't that you have to undergo the 'Windows Repair Install' procedure (google it) which will take lots of time and patience.

Now, programs that also do the second part are not free, the one I know of Acronis True Image with Plus pack (the plus pack is what gives the ability to transfer to different hardware).

That is basically all the info you need, google is your only friend in this quest from now on.

I'm unsure what you mean by "Windows to Windows". We're talking about moving the Operating System, Windows, from one machie (a virtual machine), to a physical machine, this procedure will wipe out any installation of Windows that exists on the target machine (unless you want to dual boot?).

 

No, you had it right the first time. I meant, windows to windows, as in no different than moving from one windows machine to another. I'm sure there is plenty of literature online for switching to a new machine like this. That's all I meant. We're good.
