I'm running X.org 6.9 on DragonFly BSD 1.4.4 as a guest OS on a MacBook; trackpad mouse does not work.

I noted some Solaris users had to manually configure their mouse in X to be PS/2. Configuring the protocol as "auto" or "PS/2" did not affect it. X.org reports no problems in the startup log.

I'm probably the only person using DragonFly BSD on Parallels; is anyone using FreeBSD (and X.org) as a guest system? FreeBSD is the closest thing to DragonFly.

I'm using FreeBSD 6.1-RC as a guest and my mouse works fine in (and out of) X. To get it working in X, I set the mouse device to /dev/psm0. Using auto or sysmouse didn't work.

I'm using PS/2 in xorg on Solaris - seems to work okay in Java desktop but is hosed in CDE - I only get left click.

    yay!

/dev/psm0 did the trick. It's been years since I needed anything other than /dev/sysmouse.
