I had the mouse working well with both Windows and OSX, but I recently tried to install a MS wireless keyboard/mouse and now I can't get the mouse to operate correctly within Windows. Works fine under OSX, but it won't move into and select items from the Windows toolbar. How can I get this mouse to work under both operating systems?
Thanks, John, but this mouse jumps away from my Windows toolbar when I try to click on it, so I can't access any Windows controls. I've clicked inside the window upon loading and clicked outside also, but still won't allow any Windows control.
Earlier, I did go into Add/Remove Programs and delete the Intellipoint Mouse program. Is that what you are referring to? If so, that didn't solve my problem. Imac, 2.4 Ghz, 4 meg Ram, using XP pro on OSX 10.5, Parallels build = latest one
Similar problem I am having almost the same problem, except that when I start parallels in 'window' or 'full screen' mode it only occurs during startup. I installed a wireless mouse and keyboard from logitech yesterday when I was running windows from bootcamp. After that install the startup screen mouse icon will only move diagonally down and to the right when I try to move the cursor with the trackpad. So I have been using the tab key to get to my windows login, once I login and windows starts everything works fine. When I start in 'Coherence' mode however, things are very different. I get the exact same problem, where my mouse jumps away from the windows bar whenever I try to get to it. I will try to reinstall parallels tools and see if that corrects the problem.
