Hi all, MBA 2013, Parallels 8, Win 8.1 VM, Office 2013…. I continually have problems when using excel 2013 in the VM, that I might alt-tab / cmd-tab to another window and then when I go back into excel, depending on how the machine is feeling, the mouse will either work as it should or it won't. When it does not work, I'll just be clicking on the spreadsheet and nothing happens, the click doesn't register. Through trial and error I discovered that suspending the VM and then restarting would sometimes fix it but not always. i've since discovered that reverting to full screen seems to fix it, and then going back to normal screen continues to work, until such time that it decides it doesn't want to again. Can anyone help with a permanent fix for this? Parallels is the absolute best and frustratingly worst of software. So good at times but too many quirks and annoying behaviours for me to recommend it fully.
No one else having this experience? Can somebody please help? It's really start ing to drive me up the wall.
