I downloaded the Internet Explorer Application Compatibility VPC Image from Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...0-958F-4B64-B5F1-73D0A413C8EF&displaylang=en), and used Transporter to convert it to work with the latest Parallels. I it to boot, but the mouse cursor mapping is screwed up. No matter where the mouse pointer is on the screen, clicks are being registered in the upper-right hand corner of the screen. This is both before and after I installed the Parallels tools.

    Has anyone got this working?

I had a similar problem after Transporting a fresh XP VPC image. The problem was caused by having both the VPC Additions and the Parallels Tools installed at the same time (I'd forgotten to remove the VPC Additions ahead of time). I'm assuming that MS's IE VPC image comes with the Additions installed. If so, the trick is to remove them using only the keyboard. Then, after a reboot, all will hopefully be well.

If you're unfamiliar with mouseless navigation in Windows, you should be able to turn up the most common key combinations in a Google search. All you need to do it pop open the Control Panel and remove the VPC Additions from Add/Remove Programs.
