    Hi all,
    I'm experiencing some major mouse issues, to the point that attempting to do any graphics works on the windows side is unusable. I have tested in multiple graphics design programs (both vector and pixel). Also tested multiple mice; Wireless, bluetooth and Wired. They all exhibit the same problem which leads me to believe this is a parallels issue.

    I tested modifying the settings for the VM regarding the mouse (ie optimize for gaming, not optimized etc) and actually optimize for gaming makes the problem worse to the point that the mouse is not even visible when you attempt to hover over a canvas.

    I've put a video example of the problem up on my server: http://www.helpconsulting.net/temp/ParallelsMouseProblem.mp4

    This is using a popular but simple paint program. Again, it doesn't matter about the program.

    Any thoughts on how to correct this issue?

    Thanks,
    Ken

    Hi KenKnight, try these steps:
    Click Start
    Go to control panel > Mouse > Go to the pointer options tab
    Under pointer speed, there will be a check-box that says enhance pointer precision. If it is checked uncheck it and if it is unchecked, check it. Let us know if it helps.

    In addition to it, check the graphics/video memory provided to the Windows virtual machine. Go to Actions> Configure > Hardware > Video/ Graphics and increase it to the recommended level. From Graphics > Advanced settings, make sure 3D acceleration is set to DirectX10 and Enable vertical synchronization is checked.

    The enhanced pointer precision unchecked did not seem to have an effect, however, the Enable vertical Sync did. I'm now able to control vector objects in one of my draw programs much better and it also appears that the other photo editing package is working better. I'll be using these over the next few days so I can get a feel for just how well this helped.

    Thanks for the suggestions, much appreciated.

    Regards,
    Ken

    Hi KenKnight, please follow the instructions mentioned below to fix the issue:

    1. Shut down Windows virtual machine, open its configurations;
    2. Go to Hardware > Boot Order > and paste in Boot Flags box:
    devices.usb.mouse=0
    And let us know how it works.
