I've used Parallels with MacOS, running Windows 7 (I know, old...) for years. When I recently upgraded MacOS to Monterey (v 12.0.1) and upgraded Parallels to the latest (v. 17.1.0 (51516)) I'm suddenly seeing the mouse do strange things inside Windows. When I left-click to select something, it usually works as expected, but once every few hundred (or so) times, the mouse cursor (and whatever was selected along with it) jumps to some other part of the screen. This seems to happen randomly, in different Windows applications. It only happens in Windows, under Parallels, and does not happen in native MacOS applications. It's an Apple mouse, but the hardware is unchanged, and as said this has all worked fine in the past, until this latest software upgrade. Do others see this? Is this known to the Parallels folks?

ok, that article that you referred me to talks about what to do if installing Parallels Tools hangs during installation, which isn't exactly what I needed. However, I did re-install Parallels Tools from the Parallels "Actions" menu. The occasional, and random, jumping of the mouse cursor, along with whatever is selected, still occurs. Re-installing Tools made no difference.
