    Hello All,

We are running Autodesk MotionBuilder 2014 in Windows 7 on a MacPro Can (with OSX 10.9.5) under Parallels 10.1.1 (28614).

The Orbit control in the Producer Perspective does not reverse direction when reversing the mouse direction. Moving the mouse left while holding down the left button on the mouse orbits the camera to the left but then switching direction and moving the mouse to the right (while continuing to hold down the left button) causes the camera to continue orbiting to the left rather than reversing direction as it should.

We are also running Motion Builder on another MacPro in Windows under Bootcamp and the orbit control works as intended in this system (moving the mouse in one direction and then changing mouse direction causes the orbit position to change direction to match the mouse movement).

What can we do to make the Orbit control behave normally in the Parallels VM?

    Thanks!

    Hi MichaelS3,
Please follow the steps suggested below:
    1. Uninstall Parallels Desktop 10 using PD uninstaller as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/en/122653
    2. Download latest build (28956) from: www.parallels.com/directdownload/pd10 ( http://kb.parallels.com/en/111603 )
    3. Install it as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/en/122647 (Note: un installing and re installing Parallels Desktop will not effect your Virtual Machine)
    4. Install Parallels Tools manually as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/en/112609
    5. Restart Virtual Machine and install updates for Windows 7. Check if the issue still persisting.
