    Hi.
First off, let me tell you how much I think you guys rock. This software is so absolutely great....and your speed of development is astonishing. Thank you!!!!

The sound latency of beta5 is MUCH improved over beta4. Sound editors are actually useable now. HOWEVER, there is still a digital glitch at the start of all sounds...it sounds like a stutter, and it is definitely not subtle. This is not a huge deal if you're just listening to tunes as it only seems to happen at the very start of playback, but I'm a game sound designer and many of the sounds that I edit are very small and if the first part of the sound is accompanied by a glitch, than I can't get a sense of how the sound really is.

Can anyone else confirm this glitch at the start of all sounds? It happens on XP system sounds as well, not just inside audio editors. I am using the macmini audio output as an optical output (using a 1/8" mini to toslink adapter ($2.99 at Fry's) and connected to a DolbyDP562 for my digital to analog conversion. The normal macOS does not display this problem. I have not checked to see if this is a problem when using the macmini's audio output as an analog output.

    Thanks for your attention.

EDIT: I just confirmed that the problem is indeed still happening when using the audio output as an analog output.

One more thing, when I loop a sound in the standard media player, it gets stuck in a loop mode and I can't turn it off for several minutes. I get the MacOS spinning beach ball.

I guess nobody else is having this problem. <sigh>

As an example, I made this recording of the problem that I'm hearing. You can download the file from this link:

    http://dramaticmusic.com/audio/ParallelsAudioGlitchDemo.mp3

In this example, you'll hear 3 versions of 2 system beeps from the VM machine. The first of the 3 are how the beep should sound normally. The 2nd and 3rd versions are how the sounds are currently coming out of the VM. Can you hear the glitches at the start of the sounds?
