In the settings of my Mac mini Silicon, it is set that the external monitor goes black after 15 minutes. This has worked so far, even when the Windows 11 virtual machine was running. Recently, however, the monitor only goes black when the VM is no longer running. Who can help me: What could be the reason for this? A Windows update? And how can I fix it?
I noticed something else: since then, I've been getting an error message when Time Machine tries to start on my Mac while the lock screen is active (as I said, not the black screen): "Backup not complete. Time Machine was unable to create a backup on 'xyz'." I can't quite figure out the connection, but maybe one of you can make sense of it?
