I was running Parallels 7 on Mountain Lion. During the upgrade to El Capitan, Parallels 7 was listed as incompatible, as expected. However, my files are now gone in the ~/Documents/Parallels folder. A search for *pvm files yields nothing.

I would like to (1) recover my *.pvm files so that I can reuse them on another installation of Parallels and (2) completely uninstall Parallels 7 (whatever is left of it) from my upgraded OSX.

Any tip would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

The answers to the above question:

    (1) The virtual machine files were in /Users/Shared folder
    (2) Uninstall can be done by running the uninstalled from the product CD-ROM.
