    Hello all,
I am a brand new member and I'm in a bit of a pinch. I installed Parallels Desktop and then immediately updated it to find an awesome program called Transporter. "Ah great, now I don't have to buy a copy of XP cause I can use my current XP computer" (Compaq Presario S6500NX). But I'm having a problem getting the "transportation" to go through. Everything is as it should be with the Transporter Agent in ready mode on my Compaq. The Transporter on my Mac didn't automatically find my PC, but once I typed it's ip address in, it was discovered. When hitting continue I get this error message:

An error occurred while Parallels Transporter was collecting the information about source computer. Maker sure Parallels Transporter Agent runs on source computer and not involved in other migration process.

I'm able to ping the PC from the Mac and vise versa, but when doing a trace route from the Mac to the PC it failed. So I disabled all security on both computers (disconnecting from the internet of course) and tried: no cigar. So then I figured that maybe the router was a problem, so I got rid of it and plugged an enet cord straight from the Mac to the PC. After entering the PC's 169 ip address the Transporter on the Mac recognized it once again, but I'm still getting the same error. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Any help is much appreciated
