Currently I am booting windowsXP from bootcamp. One thing I am not
satisfied with this configuration is that I cannot stop the virtual machine
and I always have to shut down every time:mad:

Now I am wondering if I can transfer all the data form bootcamp to
one of the images created with parallels desktop and use this image
    instead.

Does anyone know how to do this?

    Thanks in advance.

Have you looked at Parallels Transporter?

I looked at the Parallels Transporter, but the tool allows migaration from
    1.Windows installed on another computer
    2.Virtual image.

There was an option to specify the IP address of the computer for 1st
choice and I tried to specify IPaddress of my computer(which both bootcamp
disk and Parallels desktop reside), but did not work...

I thought it grabbed from BootCamp too... It acts just like another computer I believe... Someone who has actually done the migration, please step in.
